While the Portuguese coach has already called up 16 youth team players to train under him during the preseason, the case of Thiago will be different, as he already remained an important part of the first team last season. Mourinho has already received very good reports about the young midfielder, and he will be keeping a close eye on him to ensure that these reports are actually true.
Before that, the manager and the player will also have a chat, once Thiago returns to Real Madrid.
